National Leadership Academy Strengthens Collaboration with the National Economic Council.

A delegation from the National Leadership Academy (NLA), led by the Deputy Executive Director, Deka sheikh Ahmed, and Academic Director, Dr.Abdullahi Abdiwahab, paid a courtesy visit to the National Economic Council of Somalia at its Mogadishu office, where they were warmly received by the Council’s leadership team.

In attendance was His Excellency Hassan Adam Hosow, Chairman of the National Economic Council, alongside senior advisors.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange briefings on respective mandates, ongoing initiatives, and institutional progress. Discussions centered on strengthening leadership development frameworks and advancing Somalia’s economic growth through coordinated national efforts.

Both institutions reaffirmed their shared commitment to building capable leadership and stronger public institutions that can drive sustainable development. The visit concluded with an agreement by both institutions to explore strategic areas of collaboration, including plans to formalize the partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This growing cooperation reflects a unified national vision to cultivate principled, competent leadership that supports economic transformation and contributes to a brighter future for Somalia.
